Bio

Dr. Goette is the Director of Cardiology and Intensive Care Medicine at St. Vincenz Hospital in Paderborn, Germany. Dr. Goette’s expertise and research focus on the electrophysiology of atrial arrhythmia, acute coronary syndrome and interventional therapy, and molecular changes in the muscle tissue of the atrium. In addition to his active clinical practice and research, he serves as the Head of the Working Group "Molecular Electrophysiology" at the Institute of Clinical Pharmacology, University Hospital of Magdeburg, Germany.

Dr. Goette received his MD at the Medizinische Hochschule Hannover in Germany. He completed his residency and fellowship in Cardiology at the University Hospital in Magdeburg, Germany. Dr. Goette also completed a postdoctoral research fellowship in the Department of Electrophysiology at Emory University Hospital, Atlanta, Georgia.
